The Board meets the 4th Monday of the month at 7pm as needed.
The Town’s Planning and Zoning Board/Local Planning Agency is an appointed board charged with recommending to the Town Council the boundaries of the various zoning districts, appropriate regulations to be enforced, and any proposed amendments to the existing zoning districts. The P&Z/LPA board collects data and stays informed of best practices in the matters of planning and zoning, so that it can recommend measures affecting the present and future movement of traffic, the location of residential and business districts, and the convenience and safety of persons and property.
The Town’s Planning and Zoning Board/Local Planning Agency consists of 5 members and 2 alternates, as well as one non-voting member appointed by the school board.
